Jeanette Bader Nichols Mon May 12 1997
Trying to locate information on the Bader Family in Mohawk Valley. In checking the library in New York I found a book listed as "The BADER-BAUDER Family of the Mohawk Valley". It was compiled by Peg Bauer Nielson and assisted by Irene Ayre Bauder; book preparation by Henry E. Nielson. Evidently it was published in Lombard, Il. by M.B. Nielson in 1976. I would be interested in hearing from anyone who has information on where I might obtain a copy of this book. Is there a possibility it is available from Montgomery Co. Historical Society? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I understand from a distance relative in New York City that this book does contain information on my family. The Bader mentioned as being born in Montgomery Co. was Melchor(?) Bader or Bauder.
