IL; by 1852 to LaSalle Co, IL where their two sons lived. RS died there Oct 27, 1854 and Thomas 1862. 1790 RI census lists 10 Snow families! William, Jasiah, Samuel, Sarah, Daniel, James, Joseph, Joseph. NY 1790 Mont. Co. Census also lists Joseph Snow!! Anyone know anything about him? Ancestors, parents, etc. children? I would be interested in finding dates of death of Charles and Bridgit SPAIN. Would like to know where they are buried and where in Ireland they originally came from. I know they emigrated from Ireland ca 1830 and their oldest son Stephen was born in Ireland ca 1829. All other children born Schuyler, Herkimer Co. from ca 1831-ca 1840. Hello from St. Albert, Alberta, Canada. I am researching the SPRAGUE surname. Elkanah Sprague was born in Winham Ct., married Mehitable MOULTON in Windham Conn. in 1754 and died in Gloversville, N.Y. His son, Vine Sprague, was married to Mary SHERWIN about 1793. They died within two weeks of each other in Mayfield in 1813 in an epidemic. They left children: Irene, Vine, Jr., Harriet, John, Lyman, and Mary. I would like to trace John Sprague who married Matilda COE approx. 1820, possibly in the Skaneateles area of Onondaga County. They had a son, Horace Edward Sprague who married Nancy Emily TORREY in Lockport, Will-Grundy County, Illinois.

STAFFORD: Looking for the descendants of John Stafford and Martha Eldridge Stafford. They had two sons; Stephen Stafford b. ca. 1867 and Frederick Stafford b. ca. 1861. At one time Martha Eldridge Stafford had in her possession an ELDRIDGE or a FORD Bible. In this bible was information on a Derinda Eygenbroat or Derinda Eygenbroat Eldridge born 8 Aug 1827/29. She married James BURKE in 1853. It is possible that Derenda was an illegitimate daughter of Amanda Ford. Our family records do not give her father's name. It was possibly EYGENBROART. Thanks for any help.

Looking for birth info of my g-grandmother Tryphena TAYLOR (maiden name) born 5 Feb 1833 in Herkimer County. Do not have parents' names. Tryphena's listing on 1850 census states her father was from England and her mother from NH, but no names have surfaced yet. Her husband was Ambrose D. TURNER, who was born in Maine, but I don't know if they marr. in Wisconsin or where yet. She was a teacher in Sheboygan on 1850 census there, not married. Ambrose lived in Lake Co. IL, but I have not been able to run down their marr. certificate in either state as yet. They soon after marriage moved to Boone Co. IL, where they both died. On her death certificate, there are no parents listed either. We have searched 1830 and 1840 census as well.

My great-grandfather Franklin THURSTON - his parents were Rhoda and Moses - came to eastern Ontario from Herkimer County in the late 1800's. It's now a possibility that, despite tombstone evidence, "Franklin" Thurston could have been christened "Francis", so maybe I should just be looking for "Frank's" family to be more encompassing. Would appreciate hearing of other family lines which may have sprung from his numerous siblings.
